Love・Art – Greater Bay Area Collaborative Initiative

In 2025, LoveXpress launched Love・Art initiative, using painting as a bridge to transcend boundaries and connect the Greater Bay Area through art. This project aims to showcase the creativity and talent of individuals with autism while providing them with opportunities to develop art into a sustainable career.

At the same time, we will establish the Love・Art Seed Fund through a series of fundraising activities to support art programmes, enabling ASD individuals to develop their skills and turn their artwork into marketable products.

Unleash Artistic Brilliance

The “Star Buddies” painting event invites ASD participants to create their unique buddy based on the theme of “imaginary best friend”, highlighting their artistic talents.

Art Creates Value

Selected artworks will be transformed into creative products with design, packaging and marketing support to empower youths to achieve independence and promote social inclusion.

Nurture Artistic Potential

The Love・Art Seed Fund will provide art training and resources to 300 underprivileged autistic youths annually, making art the starting point of transformative change.

The Birth of “Star Buddies”

The inspiration for the “Star Buddies Gathering” came from our deep observations while accompanying individuals with autism. Many autistic individuals possess extraordinary artistic talents, yet, these gifts are frequently overlooked by society, sometimes even misunderstood as signs of “aloofness” or “difficulty in communication.” Recognising that many autistic friends may need extra support in making connections and expressing themselves, we wondered: What if we could provide these unique souls with a bigger stage—where their creativity is seen and their stories are heard?

With this in mind, we launched “Star Buddies”, inviting ASD participants to design their own “Star Buddy” based on the theme of “The Imaginary Best Friend.”

In the past, LoveXpress has collaborated with “Star” Artist Alvin Li to create numerous products. From art reproductions to practical stationaries and limited-edition souvenirs, each piece carries the whimsical imagination of Alvin’s brushes. These creations have no only been praised as memorabilia, but became a part of people’s every day life.

Through the “Star Buddies” initiative, we hope to transform outstanding artworks into cultural and creative products, helping ASD individuals feel recognised for their talents, and provide them with opportunities to develop art into a sustainable career.

The products will be sold through physical stores and e-commerce platforms, each accompanied by the creator’s name and story.

Selected works may be developed into various products, including:

  • Stationery: Postcards, notebooks, bookmarks.
  • Apparel & Accessories: T-shirts, tote bags.
  • Home Decor: Pins, wall art, miniature sculptures.

Alvin Li’s work showcases vibrant colours and dynamic vitality that conveys his pure, joyful spirit to his audience.

This initiative encourages the public and organisations to donate toward our Love•Art Seed Fund, which will provide annual art training for 300 underprivileged ASD youths, and support a series of art-based programs for such youths, including: Art Programs, Exhibitions, Art Product Development, Family Art Therapy Projects, and more.

The campaign will also feature online and offline promotions and fundraising activities across the Greater Bay Area to promote social inclusion and create more employment opportunities for ASD individuals.

Providing art exploration and training for 300 underprivileged autistic youth annually.

If you also want to contribute to helping these autistic children, we welcome you to visit the exhibition, purchase creative cultural products, or even make a donation (companies can become sponsorship partners by providing funding or venue support). We look forward to your participation in creating an inclusive community.
